HOW ROOM SWAP WORKS

1. CREATE A REQUEST

Post Your Request: Share your current room details and preferred room preferences.
Browse Listings: Explore requests posted by other hostel students.
Find a Match: Look for students whose preferences match yours.

2. DISCUSS WITH THE OTHER STUDENT

Communicate Together: Talk with the student before making any decisions.
Mutual Agreement: Both students should agree to the room exchange.
Confirm Details: Verify hostel block, room preferences, and other information.

3. CONTACT YOUR HOSTEL WARDEN

Official Permission: Room swapping must always be approved by your Hostel Warden.
Follow Hostel Rules: Complete every step required by the Hostel Administration.
Final Decision: Only the Hostel Administration can approve or reject a room swap.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Finding someone through CONNECT SRMAP does NOT mean your room has been officially swapped.
Please contact your Hostel Warden before changing your room.
