Subject Chat — Better File And Picture Reading

Subject Chat can now read the study material you upload more directly, including scanned pages and photos.

1. What Changed

PDFs and pictures are read directly by the AI, instead of depending on text being extracted first.
Scanned pages and photos of notes work better, including diagrams and printed questions.
If one reading service is busy, another takes over automatically, so you are less likely to see a failed upload.

Open a subject in Subject Chat.
Use the attach button to add a PDF or picture.
Ask your question, for example: "Summarise page 2", "Solve question 3 step by step", or "Explain this diagram".

Use clear, well-lit photos with the page straight and in focus.
Ask about a few pages at a time for the best answers.
Your uploaded files count toward your storage limit. Delete files you no longer need.

Q1. Do I need to type the text from my notes?

No. Upload the PDF or picture and ask about it.

Q2. My upload failed.

Check your remaining storage and the file size, then try again. If it keeps failing, email support.

Q3. Is Subject Chat available to everyone?

It follows the same 10-day login streak unlock as the other AI features.
