Connect Srmap Ai Question Limits, Availability And Response Behaviour

Understanding AI Availability

CONNECT SRMAP AI may apply usage limits to manage demand and keep the service available. The limits shown to you can depend on your account type and the settings configured for the service.

1. Question Usage Indicator

The AI interface can show a question-usage indicator, such as the number of questions used compared with the available allowance. When a limit is active, the interface may display a reset time or countdown.

Always use the allowance and reset information shown on your own AI page rather than relying on a number shared elsewhere. Limits can change through configuration.

2. What Happens When I Reach a Limit?

Depending on the limit that applies, you may see a message asking you to wait before asking more questions. A countdown may indicate when access is expected to resume.

If you are using the AI as a guest, the page may ask you to log in to continue, depending on the applicable limit and guest-access settings.

What you can do

  1. Read the message shown by the AI.

  2. Check the displayed reset time or countdown.

  3. Wait until the limit resets.

  4. Log in if the page offers login as an option.

  5. Try again after access becomes available.

Do not repeatedly submit the same question while a limit message is displayed.

3. Request Rate Limits

The implementation also includes a short-term request-rate limit to discourage sending many questions in quick succession. If you receive a message asking you to wait, pause briefly before trying again.

This is separate from longer usage limits that may apply to your account.

4. Why Does the AI Take Time to Answer?

The assistant may need to:

  • Interpret your question.

  • Search relevant Help Center guides.

  • Check supported campus data or study-material folders.

  • Prepare an answer.

  • Generate a response through an available AI service.

The interface can show progress steps while it works. Response time varies with the question, data retrieval, network conditions, and AI-service availability.

5. Maintenance and Temporary Errors

CONNECT SRMAP AI may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or when an AI service or supporting feature encounters an error.

If a maintenance message appears, follow the instructions and any return time shown. If an error occurs, try again later.

6. Why Might Two Answers Differ?

Answers can differ because:

  • You asked the question in a different way.

  • The relevant source data changed.

  • A different answer path or AI model handled the question.

  • The conversation contained different context.

  • The AI interpreted an ambiguous question differently.

For important information, compare the answer with the relevant CONNECT SRMAP page or official source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How many questions can I ask?
The allowance is controlled by current settings and may vary. Check the usage indicator on the AI page.

Q2. When will my questions reset?
Use the reset time or countdown shown in the interface, when provided.

Q3. Why does the AI ask me to wait?
You may have reached a usage limit or sent requests too quickly.

Q4. Does logging in always remove all limits?
No. Login can affect which access rules apply, but you should follow the limits shown to you.

Q5. Why is the AI under maintenance?
The service may be temporarily disabled for maintenance. Follow the message displayed on the page.

Q6. What if the countdown has ended but I still cannot ask?
Refresh the page, check your login state, and try again. If the problem continues, contact support.

Q7. Is every answer generated by the same model?
Not necessarily. The implementation supports multiple AI providers and models, so the provider handling a request may vary.
