Login Errors and Account Locked
Having trouble signing in to CONNECT SRMAP? Different messages may appear depending on your account status, password, security verification, or login attempts. Use this guide to understand the message and what to do next.
1. “No account found with this Register Number or Email”
Why it happens: The login system could not find an account matching the Register Number or email address you entered.
What to do:
Check for typing mistakes or extra spaces.
Try the full Register Number, including the
APprefix if applicable.Try the email address associated with your account.
If you have never registered, select Register Now.
2. “Incorrect password”
Why it happens: The password entered does not match the password stored for your account.
What to do:
Check that you entered the correct password.
Check your keyboard settings and Caps Lock.
If you cannot remember the password, select Forgot password?
Avoid repeatedly guessing your password.
3. “Too many login attempts from this network”
The system limits repeated login attempts from the same IP address. After five or more recorded attempts, a temporary restriction may apply for up to five minutes.
What to do:
Wait for the time shown in the message.
Check your credentials before trying again.
Avoid repeatedly submitting the login form.
The restriction is based on the network's recorded attempts, so it may affect other login attempts coming from the same public IP address.
4. “Your account is temporarily locked”
The system temporarily locks an account after five failed password attempts. The login page may show how many minutes remain.
What to do:
Wait until the temporary restriction expires.
Use the correct password.
If you have forgotten your password, use the password recovery option.
If the problem continues after the waiting period, contact support.

Why it happens: The Cloudflare security verification was not completed.

If it does not load, refresh the page and try again.
Check your internet connection and ensure your browser allows the required page scripts.
If the problem continues, try another supported browser.
6. “Security verification failed. Please try again.”
The verification response could not be validated successfully.
What to do:
Refresh the login page.
Complete the security check again.
Submit the form after the check is completed.
If the error persists, try again later or contact support.
7. “Invalid session token. Please try again.”
The security token associated with your current session could not be validated.
What to do:
Reload the login page.
Start a fresh login attempt.
Avoid submitting an old login form that has been open for a long time.
If the message continues, open the login page in a new tab.

What to do: Contact support for clarification. Do not attempt to bypass the restriction by creating another account.

Q1. How long should I wait after too many failed attempts?
The code applies a temporary five-minute restriction after the configured threshold. Follow the remaining time displayed on the page.
Q2. Will my account be permanently locked after five wrong passwords?
The code implements a temporary lock, not a permanent lock, for repeated failed password attempts.
Q3. Why am I getting a login error even though my internet works?
The issue may be related to your credentials, account status, security verification, or session token. Follow the specific message displayed on the page.
Q4. Should I keep trying different passwords?
No. Repeated failed attempts can trigger a temporary restriction. Use the password recovery option if you cannot remember your password.
Q5. What if the account remains inaccessible after waiting?
Try again with the correct details. If the issue persists, send the exact error message to the Help Center without sharing your password.
Q6. Can support ask me to send my password by email?
You should never send your password in a support message. Describe the issue and provide only the account information reasonably needed to identify the problem.
