Password Requirements Create A Secure Password
CONNECT SRMAP checks your password before processing registration.
Password Requirements
At least 6 characters long.
Contains at least one letter.
Contains at least one number.
A password that does not meet these requirements may be rejected by the registration form.
How to Protect Your Account
Use a unique password that you do not use on other websites.
Avoid easily guessed passwords.
Never share your password through messages or public posts.
Avoid saving passwords on shared or public computers.
If you suspect someone knows your password, use the available account-security process to protect your account.
Password Security
CONNECT SRMAP's supplied registration code uses PHP's password_hash() function with bcrypt to hash passwords before storing them in the student record.
The minimum password requirements do not guarantee that a password is strong. A longer, unique password is safer.
Never send your password to support. Support should not need it to investigate a registration problem.
