Session Expired
📌 Overview
A Student Portal connection uses a limited session. When the active session expires, CONNECT SRMAP shows a session‑expired state and offers a Reconnect option. This does not mean your CONNECT SRMAP account has been deleted; it simply requires fresh Student Portal authentication.
⚙️ Reconnect Flow
The following table shows the steps that occur when you click Reconnect Now:
| Step | Action | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Session expires | State changes to expired |
| 2 | Click Reconnect Now | Student Portal authentication starts |
| 3 | CAPTCHA handled | Proceed to credentials |
| 4 | Enter credentials | Verified |
| 5 | Connection becomes active | Session restored |
💡 Tips & Best Practices
- If your Student Portal password has changed, you will be prompted to enter the new credentials.
- If the Student Portal is temporarily unavailable, try again later.
- Do not create a new CONNECT SRMAP account when the session expires; use the reconnect option first.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Session expiration does not delete your CONNECT SRMAP account.
- Reconnect requires a fresh Student Portal authentication.
