Account Privacy

📌 Overview

Account Privacy lets you control who can see your CONNECT SRMAP profile and posts on the campus portal.

⚙️ Privacy Settings

🔓 Public Account

With a Public Account, any student on the portal can view your profile information and posts without needing permission.

🔒 Private Account

With a Private Account, only approved students can access your profile and posts. New students may need your approval before they can see restricted content.

🛠️ Changing Your Privacy Setting

  1. Navigate to the Privacy Settings page.
  2. Select either Public or Private.
  3. Click Save Changes to apply the new setting.

⚠️ What Does Not Change?

  • Your profile remains intact.
  • Your posts are preserved.
  • Followers and account information stay the same.
